Private education provider Apollo Group Inc. Thursday said in a Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the Higher Learning Commission has raised questions about the oversight of its recruitment, admissions and financial aid practices at its subsidiary, University of Phoenix. The university has to address these issues no later than April 29.

Diversified machinery company Robbins & Myers, Inc. (RBN) on Thursday reported a profit for the second quarter that more than tripled on strong revenue growth. The company also said it has greed to sell its Romaco businesses to a group of funds led by Germany-based private equity firm Deutsche Beteiligungs AG for 65 million euros or about $92 million.
