Omnicare Sends Open Letter To PharMerica Shareholders Outlining Merger Benefits

Geriatric pharmaceutical services company Omnicare, Inc. (OCR) sent Friday an open letter to the shareholders of PharMerica Corp. (PMC) detailing the benefits of combination between the two companies. Omnicare has gone hostile with its $15.00 per share offer for all outstanding shares of PharMerica common stock earlier in the month. The tender offer made directly to PharMerica shareholders ends on October 4, unless extended.
