Facebook Reaches Settlement With FTC On Privacy Issues – Update

The Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday that Facebook has agreed to settle charges that it misled consumers about its use of their personal information. The proposed settlement requires the social networking site to respect the privacy wishes of its users in future and also subjects it to regular privacy audits every two years for the next 20 years.
